Cuban cigars come in various shapes and sizes. Most people think about Cuban cigars as one standard five to six inch cigar but they come in all kinds of sizes. Yes the majority is in a cylinder shape but they range in thickness and length. The thickness is the ring gauge size and the length is pretty self explanatory.

A gift is something that should represent how you feel about the person you are presenting the gift to. A gift also represents that you care about this particular person and enjoy whatever relationship you have going on with them. A gift is a physical representation of your current status with the person who is getting a gift.

After smoking Cuban cigars for some time, I\’ve now developed a taste for them. I guess you can say my palette is somewhat experienced and it doesn\’t take long for me to truly appreciate the flavors of a Cuban cigar. So over the years, I\’ve discovered my own Cuban cigar brands. Here I would like to talk about my three favorite ones.

Since the day Cuban cigars were discovered, they have enjoyed a healthy growth with period of slowness every once in a while. That is just a natural curve for things, you go up, you come down, you stay steady for a while, you get the idea. Cuban cigars once professionally packaged, were ready to go right off the bat. You would just open a cuban cigar box of your favorite Montecristo cigars or what not and go from there. Sometimes you would share them with a rest of your friends, sometimes you would simply keep them to your yourself.

Cuban cigars might be the kind of all cigars but American cigars have been doing their thing for quiet some time. American cigars are very popular in the United States due to the sad tragedy of the Cuban embargo ban. Which prohibits Cuban cigar buying or selling the United States of America. American cigars satisfy the needs of a cigar smoker but they are far away from the delight that is a Cuban cigar.

When people think about Cuban cigars, usually the mental picture that phrase creates is a bunch of old guys sitting around on leather chairs puffing on thick long Cuban cigars. They sometimes might have a glass of Scotch or something on the side and they are surrounded by a huge cloud of smoke that is covering ninety percent of their face.

We all know that Cuban cigars are amazing. In fact nothing comes close to the beauty that is the Cuban cigar. However, their are still certain things that we need to watch for especially because their are so many imitations. Fake cigars aside, kindly stop comparing Cuban cigars to machine rolled cigars - their is a huge difference. Machine rolled cigars are used by some people but Cuban cigar smokers don\’t even look at them.

Did you know that their is a whole art and method of holding a Cuban cigar? Yes Cuban cigars are some cigarettes that you can puff inhale and chuck on the ground. So what holds that Cuban cigar of yours intact.You know the actual layer to the most outside of a Cuban cigar? That oily wrapper (At least it\’s suppose to be a little oily if it\’s a good cigar)is what is outside of the binder. Yes the construction of Cuban cigars is a art on it\’s own.

Me and Cuban cigars go back like baseball and Babe Ruth. We are just meant to be and I have a history that can back that claim up really good. In fact, it will guarantee that I am meant to share my love of Cuban cigars with everybody. You see, I came to this planet through a family who has been smoking Cuban cigars for like four generations. I must say that it truly is a blessing to be part of a family like that. The word unique can describe me fully and especially my Cuban cigar smoking situation.

Montecristo cigars first began to be produced in 1935 by a man named Garcia Menendez in Havana, Cuba. At this particular time, he was also the owner of the H. Upmann cigar brand which was extremely popular. The name for the Montecristo cigars came from the novel, the Count of Monte Christo which was very popular reading during that time, especially among those that rolled cigars.

It has been concluded that tobacco was first discovered in times when taking notes or record keeping was not so much of a big thing. However, scientists have confirmed that it was in North America that the first actual use of tobacco occurred. Since North America is also a place where you can find traces of original tobacco plants, it all makes sense. Regardless of when tobacco was discovered, the important thing is that it was. Tobacco smoking and more importantly the profits from it has played an integral part in building our modern civilization. Tobacco sales have continued to sore and beating out anything else, including gold and silver. Tobacco revenue is almost on par with oil sales.

The H. Upmann cigars can actually be found in two separate companies that share the same name. The first of these is manufactured in Cuba and the other is made in the Dominican Republic. The only thing that these two cigar companies really share is a name and when most people think of the H. Upmann cigar brand, they consider the one that is rolled in Havana, Cuba.

Romeo Y Julieta cigars began in 1875 with the business organization of Alvarez y Garcia creating Cuban cigars just for the local smokers in Havana. It\’s incredible but the Romeo Y Julieta cigars were never suppose to be shipped to the world that existed outside of the border of Cuba. Ask yourself though, how long can you keep an amazing thing quiet for years, I mean the bubble had to burst some day.

It was Alvarez Y Garcia\’s organization that first started making Romeo Y Julieta Cigars and he was just keeping it for local distributions. Originally, the Romeo Y Julieta cigars were never meant for anyone outside of Cuba. Although the Cubans are known to be excellent marketers (Considering the Cigar ban and stuff), the Romeo Y Julieta brand was just not allowed to go out at all. It\’s funny because now they are all over the place.

Only the best cigars come from Cuban, any cigar smoke can tell you that. Montecristo, Partagas, Romeo Y Julieta, I mean the list just goes on of the ever popular Cuban cigar brands. If you want to live the \’blessed\’ life, make sure you got Cuban cigars added to your list. Cuban cigars represent that you\’ve made it and you are now enjoying life. Here in lies a dilemma though especially if you reside in the US of A. Cuban cigars are banned in the United States and to get them, you have to purchase from the internet or step out of the United States borders.
