With the right recipes, even if you have diabetes, it does not mean you cannot enjoy good food, it just means that there are a few limits. Being in control of your diet is imperative in reducing the effects of diabetes and can also help lower the chances of you contracting it. Millions of people in the world are diabetic and people diagnosed with diabetes are not prepared for the illness or the possible complications that accompanies it. The most common diabetes is type 2 diabetes. This is when the body\’s cells ignore insulin production and the body can not produce enough insulin (insulin helps break down glucose or blood sugar that creates energy). If you are wondering why you have high cholesterol and what is cholesterol anyway. We have here tried to explain it to you in lay-mans terms. This is not easily done, but might give you an indication of how and why these cholesterol levels should be lowered. Similar to not needing to know how the internal combustion engine works, in order to drive a car, you really don\’t need to understand what cholesterol actually is. I don\’t care how old you are, it\’s necessary to spend some time daily or weekly to engage in some form of exercise, if you want to prevent diabetes.
